ABSTRACT
L'importanza dello sfruttamento delle risorse energetiche oceaniche è dovuta alla crescente necessità di sostituire i combustibili fossili con l'energia sostenibile. Il mare rappresenta un'enorme risorsa per le energie rinnovabili come il vento, le onde, le maree e le correnti marine. In questo contesto, il progetto PELAGOS è stato selezionato nel 2015 dal programma INTERREG MED per aumentare le capacità di innovazione e la cooperazione promuovendo la creazione (o il potenziamento) di hub nazionali e di un cluster transnazionale mediterraneo, il Blue Energy Cluster.
Questo documento intende fornire ad altri cluster marittimi e reti di imprese una panoramica delle attività sviluppate, l'approccio innovativo seguito e i risultati raggiunti.
The importance of exploitation of ocean energy resources is due to the rapidly increasing need to replace fossil fuels with sustainable energy. The sea represents a huge resource for renewable energy such as wind, waves, tides and marine currents. In this context, PELAGOS project has been selected in 2015 by the INTERREG MED Programme to increase the innovation capacities and cooperation through promoting the creation (or enhancement) of national hubs and of a transnational Mediterranean cluster, the Blue Energy Cluster.
This document intends to provide to other maritime clusters and business networks an overview of the activities developed, the innovative approach followed and the results achieved.
